Sanford Health in Fargo, ND seeks a BC/BE Pediatric Infectious Diseases physician to join a two-physician ID team. The role includes outpatient and inpatient consults at a Level II pediatric hospital with 24/7 in-house coverage by hospitalists, NICU, and PICU teams.

Expect a 1:3 call rotation, collaboration with 70+ pediatric specialists, and potential joint clinical faculty appointment with UND SMHS. PSLRP eligibility and a competitive physician benefits package are offered.

Sanford Health has an opening for a BC/BE Pediatric Infectious Diseases Physician to join the region's largest team of board certified, fellowship-trained pediatricians and pediatric specialists.

• Join an established Pediatric Infectious Disease team of two physicians

• Outpatient clinic and inpatient consultant practice in the region's only Level II trauma Children's Hospital, supported by 24/7 in-house coverage by in-house pediatric hospitalist, NICU, and PICU coverage

• Shared 1:3 call rotation

• Sanford Medical Center includes an 8-bed PICU with flex capacity, a 24-bed pediatric unit, and a 40-bed Level IV NICU including a 6 bed Micropreemie Unit

• Collaborate with more than 70 board-certified, fellowship-trained pediatricians and pediatric specialists representing over 25 pediatric subspecialties, including pediatric surgery, orthopedic surgery, and neurosurgery

• Opportunity for a joint clinical faculty appointment with the University of North Dakota School of Medicine & Health Sciences Department of Pediatrics, teaching medical students, family medicine residents, and pediatric residents

• Collaborate with Sanford Research, one of the nation's leading rural health research enterprises, advancing clinical research and innovation

• Eligible practice site for the Pediatric Subspecialty Loan Repayment Program(PSLRP).

Competitive compensation package includes:

• Compensation floor of $250,000 for the first two years of the employment contract, plus estimated potential to exceed compensation floor from personally performed wRVUs.

• In addition, a $100,000 incentive to be paid if you remain a 1.0 FTE for 3 years (this will be subject to a contractual agreement specifying all details) location allowance.
