Job summary
Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is seeking a clinical medical physicist with a strong interest in clinical research to join our Clinical Medical Physics team. The successful candidate will contribute to imaging physics across CT, MRI, PET and other modalities while collaborating with radiologists and clinical staff.
Dedicated protected research time is available, and a faculty appointment through the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine may be offered.
Qualifications
- Board certification in Diagnostic Medical Physics or board eligible.
- Master's or PhD degree in Medical Physics.
- Demonstrated experience in clinical research and peer‑reviewed publications.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with radiologists, clinical faculty, QA/regulatory staff, technologists and trainees.
- Contribute to commissioning, optimization and performance monitoring of imaging equipment.
- Engage in clinically relevant research with radiologists, scientists and investigators.
- Pursue investigator‑initiated research, technology evaluation and external partnerships.
