Job summary

Phoenix Children's is seeking Pediatric Infectious Diseases physicians to join the Division of Infectious Diseases in Phoenix, AZ. The successful candidate will provide clinical care in inpatient and outpatient settings, and participate in teaching and research activities.

The role includes opportunities for clinical faculty titles at The University of Arizona College of Medicine, with potential collaborations with Mayo Clinic-Scottsdale and Creighton University College of Medicine.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in pediatric infectious diseases.
• Clinical faculty appointment at University of Arizona College of Medicine; potential with Mayo Clinic-Scottsdale and Creighton University.
• Commitment to patient care and trainee education.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient consults and outpatient pediatric ID clinic care.
• Teach medical students, residents and clinical fellows; participate in rounding and conferences.
• Engage in antimicrobial stewardship, infection prevention and transplant program activities.
• Participate in research initiatives within the division and clinical education activities.
