Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for Pediatrics/PICU infill at our Brooklyn Methodist location. You will join a dedicated team delivering high-quality care during night shifts, working with a multidisciplinary group to rapidly assess and coordinate patient needs.

The role requires a BSN, NYS RN license, and BLS/PALS certifications, with 1 year of pediatric acute care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN is required.
• Current NYS RN license is required.
• BLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association are required.
• 1 year of acute care RN experience in Pediatrics is preferred.
• Role requires on-site presence at NYP Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, nights.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric nursing care in the Pediatrics/PICU setting as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Assess conditions, plan and implement patient care, and coordinate with families and other clinicians.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)

Current New York State RN license

BLS certification from the American Heart Association

PALS certification from the American Heart Association
