Job summary

Wise Medical Staffing seeks an experienced Pediatric ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care for critically ill children at a leading Boston hospital. The role features self-scheduling, collaboration with intensivists, and a focus on family education and support.

The nurse will perform complex assessments, continuous monitoring, ventilator and drip management, and emergency interventions, while ensuring precise EMR documentation and multidisciplinary teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experienced pediatric ICU RN required.
• Ability to work in high-acuity shifts and respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based care to critically ill children, including complex assessments and continuous monitoring.
• Manage ventilators and critical drip therapy as part of patient care.
• Perform emergency interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with intensivists and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Support and educate families; provide clear communications.
• Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation.
