Job summary

UF Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver and coordinate patient care, supervising LPNs and UAPs, and collaborating across disciplines to ensure optimal outcomes. The RN will assess patient needs, plan interventions, and evaluate effectiveness within a trusted, patient-centered environment.

The role requires an active Florida RN license, BSN preferred, and board certification either at hire or within required timelines.

Qualifications

• BSN and professional nursing board certification preferred at time of hire.
• All nurses hired after April 30, 2014 without a BSN will be required to obtain a BSN within three years of hire.
• All nurses hired after June 30, 2011 without a professional nursing board certification will be required to obtain a professional nursing board certification after two years of hire or at the certification eligibility date for those certifications requiring more than two years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify patient health alterations and assess responses to health problems.
• Implement nursing interventions and evaluate their effectiveness to achieve outcomes.
• Coordinate care between disciplines and supervise care by LPNs and UAPs.
