Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian is seeking a Clinical Nurse to join the Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool at Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital in New York, NY. This full-time night position focuses on delivering high-quality, compassionate care to high-risk pediatric patients.

You will work with a dedicated nursing team, collaborate with families, and participate in emergency response efforts while expanding skills across multiple units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing is required.
• Two years experience in Pediatric ICU required.
• Three+ years Pediatric ICU nursing experience preferred.
• Current NYS RN licensure required.
• BCLS and PALS required.
• NRP and ACLS or can be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• CCRN Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the Pediatric ICU Float Pool.
• Collaborate with families to create a healing environment.
• Participate as a member of the emergency response team.
• Gain exposure to a broad range of challenges across specialized units.
• Expand clinical skills and knowledge across multiple specialties.
