MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center is seeking a BC/BE Pediatric Hospitalist to join its established pediatric team in Des Moines, IA. The role includes coverage of the well-baby nursery and the pediatric medical-surgical unit with a teaching component for residents and medical students.

MercyOne Des Moinesis composed of 4 central/southern Iowa Hospitals totaling 875 beds and managing 16 rural Hospitals. MercyOne Childrens Hospital encompasses an 8-bed PICU, 62-bed Level III NICU, a level 2 trauma 12 bed Pediatric ED, a 22-bed Medical Surgical Unit, and is supported by several subspecialties including Cardiology, Neurology, Surgery and Gastroenterology. Additionally, MercyOne Medical Center has a tertiary service of 1.5 million and its maternity care includes 15 dedicated labor suites and 40 private postpartum rooms.
