Job summary

Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA is seeking a pediatric hospitalist to join its team in the state’s only free-standing children’s hospital. You will provide care on a 14-bed pediatric unit and participate in family-centered rounds with residents, while maintaining a sustainable schedule.

The position offers employment through HCA Healthcare with competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, including health, retirement, PTO, and CME time/allowance.

Qualifications

• Board certification in pediatric hospitalist medicine preferred but not required.
• 26 weeks/year.
• 7-5 daily on weekdays.
• Home Call - infrequently need to come in.
• Week night call rotation amongst group.
• Weekend call coverage Friday night - Monday Morning with a backup on weekends.
• Work with pediatric residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily coverage on a 14-bed pediatric unit in a children’s hospital.
• Participate in weekday daytime shifts (7–5) and on-call rotations.
• Collaborate with pediatric residents and multidisciplinary teams.
