Job summary

Samaritan Health Services in Oregon is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist to join our Lincoln City team. This inpatient role includes coverage of pediatric patients, potential deliveries, and newborn stabilization as part of a Level 1 nursery team.

You will join 3 other pediatricians in a part-time schedule, with opportunities to work with medical students and residents in a supportive, mission-driven health system.

Qualifications

• Inpatient coverage only for pediatric patients.
• Attend deliveries as needed.
• Stabilize newborns for transport when required.
• Care for children with chronic medical problems.
• Opportunity to work with medical students and residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient pediatric care at Samaritan North Lincoln Hospital.
• Share pediatric call and inpatient coverage with a small team.
• Collaborate with nurses and other physicians to coordinate care.
