Stamford Health is looking for a Board Certified Per Diem Pediatric Hospitalist to join the Pediatrics team. The Hospitalist will oversee care for hospitalized pediatric patients and provide consultation across specialties.
This position offers flexibility with 24-hour shifts and requires a minimum of 2–3 shifts per month. The ideal candidate should have experience in Pediatric Hospitalist roles and a commitment to family-centered care.

The Department of Pediatrics at Stamford Hospital is seeking a Board Certified Per Diem Pediatric Hospitalist to join the team. The physician will oversee the care of hospitalized pediatric patients and provide well‑baby care in the nursery. They will offer consultation to attendings in Pediatrics and Family Medicine and serve as occasional backup in the NICU for deliveries. Additionally, the Hospitalist will provide teaching and medical consultation to surgical and family medicine residents and physician assistant students.
The pediatric unit contains 10 beds with an average daily census of 6–7 and a 36‑bed well‑baby nursery. The Emergency Department includes a dedicated Pediatrics ER unit with 8 beds.
