Job summary
A 473-bed community teaching and referral hospital serving Fairfield County and the surrounding region is adding a Pediatric Hospitalist. The medical center offers a comprehensive array of services, including advanced care in cardiology, orthopedics, oncology, surgery, and behavioral health, supported by its status as a Level II trauma center and affiliated teaching programs.
Schedule: six weekday shifts and two weekend shifts per four-week cycle; each shift is 24 hours.
Responsibilities
- Rounding on newborns and coordinating newborn care.
- Attend C-sections (scheduled and emergent) and stabilize newborns for transport.
- Opportunities to teach and precept medical students.
