Qualifications

• Leadership experience preferred for a Medical Director role.
• Experience in hospitalist or pediatric hospital medicine.
• Ability to collaborate with academic programs and subspecialists.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a staff of 2 pediatric hospitalists.
• Schedule week on/week off with call from home.
• Coordinate inpatient 6-bed floor and ED consults; NICU coverage is separate.
• Collaborate with Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine and Southeast Health GME.
