Job summary

CompHealth is staffing a hospital-based role in a busy newborn service. The position includes 24-hour call coverage, routine nursery rounding with about 6–8 newborns monthly, and occasional on-site C-sections (about 1–3 per month). An ED and inpatient rounding component is possible but rare.

Certifications in NRP and PALS are required; provider will join a team with comprehensive malpractice coverage, housing and travel arrangements, and streamlined credentialing through CompHealth's program.

Qualifications

• NRP certification required.
• PALS certification required.
• Experience with newborns and NICU rounding preferred.

Responsibilities

• 24-hour call coverage schedule.
• Primarily nursery rounding – approx. 6–8 newborns per month.
• C-section on-site presence – approx. 1–3 per month.
• ED consults and inpatient rounding available – rare occurrence.
