Job summary

The Pediatric Hospital Medicine attending physician at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia will work across general pediatric services, surgical co‑management, complex care, and sedation settings. Qualifications

• Doctorate of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) – required.
• Ability to navigate hospital policies and guidelines and apply them in patient care.
• Strong communication and teamwork with staff, patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, treat, and manage patients in a variety of pediatric settings.
• Supervise clinical providers, including residents, and provide feedback.
• Review current pediatric standards of care and implement updates.
• Respond to clinical alerts and public health updates.
• Provide educational support for residents, medical students and APPs.
• Participate in research activities and quality improvement projects.
• Engage in scholarship and pathway design Committees and projects.
• Assess patient access, flow, and staff performance to improve care.
