Job summary

Valley Children’s Hospital in Madera, California, is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist to join our established Pediatric Hospital Medicine team. The role offers broad inpatient clinical practice, teaching opportunities, and a flexible team-based scheduling model to support physician satisfaction.

The position provides opportunities to participate in resident and fellow education, with affiliation to Stanford University School of Medicine for training collaborations.

Qualifications

• MD or DO Degree is required.
• Board certified or eligible in Pediatric Hospital Medicine preferred but not required.
• Eligible for medical licensure in the State of California.
• Excellent clinical, communication and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide acute inpatient pediatric care, surgical co-management and consults for medically complex cases.
• Participate in education of residents and fellows.
• Work within a team-based scheduling model to support physician satisfaction.
