Job summary

Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, WI seeks a full-time pediatric hospitalist (board certified/eligible) to join a collaborative team in a state-of-the-art pediatric unit, including PICU and NICU, with a flexible schedule and strong work-life balance.

You will manage admissions, perform ED consults, and care for a diverse pediatric patient population; CME funding is available, and there are opportunities for teaching and leadership development.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited graduate medical training program.
• Board certification or eligibility in pediatric medicine is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage admissions from referring facilities.
• Perform emergency department consults for pediatric patients.
• Care for patients with complex medical needs.
• Teach students, residents, fellows or clinical staff as part of medical education.
