Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences - New Jersey Medical School Department of Pediatrics is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist to join our faculty at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in Newark, NJ. The role involves inpatient pediatric hospital medicine, patient care, and education of medical students and residents.

The successful candidate will participate in education, research, and clinical care, collaborating to deliver high-quality health care while advancing scholarly activity

Qualifications

• MD degree required.
• Board eligible or certified in Pediatrics and/or Pediatric Hospital Medicine.
• NJ medical license, CDS and DEA eligibility required.
• Applicant must demonstrate excellence as a clinician educator.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient pediatric hospitalist coverage and care.
• Educate medical students and residents.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to educate patients and families.
• Contribute to scholarly activity and education as part of the division.
