What you’ll do:

• Deliver outstanding evidence-based inpatient care on our newly designed 26-bed pediatric medical-surgical unit.
• Partner closely with pediatric subspecialists in a collaborative tertiary/quaternary care environment.
• Teach and mentor pediatric residents and medical students within an expanding academic program.
• Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, clinical innovation, and multidisciplinary initiatives.
• Contribute to the continued growth and strategic direction of Pediatric Hospital Medicine at Guerin Children's.
• For experienced candidates, assume administrative leadership responsibilities with opportunities to develop programs, improve operations, and mentor junior faculty.

Required Education/Certifications:

• MD, DO, or equivalent
• Board Certification or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
• Eligible for unrestricted California Physician medical license
• Eligible for appointment to the appropriate academic rank in the CSMC Professorial Series
• Excellent clinical, teaching, and communication skills

The total pay range shown takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including knowledge/skills; relevant experience and training; education/certifications/licensure; and other business and organizational factors. This total pay range includes any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role. We also offer a comprehensive faculty benefits package. Pay Range: $227,000 - $334,800 Total Cash Compensation
