Job summary
The University at Buffalo's Department of Pediatrics at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences is recruiting a full-time Pediatric Hospitalist to provide inpatient care at Golisano Children’s Hospital and participate in the care of patients at HighPointe on Michigan. Qualifications
- Board-certified/board-eligible pediatrician for inpatient hospitalist role.
- Strong teaching and supervision of residents and medical students.
- Excellent clinical and communication skills with interest in quality improvement.
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient care for pediatric patients at Golisano Children’s Hospital at Buffalo.
- Share in coverage of the Pediatric Long Term Care facility at HighPointe on Michigan.
- Teach and supervise pediatric residents and medical students; participate in conferences and curriculum development.
- Answer after-hours call from home; collaborate with Pediatric Intensivists for acute needs.
