Minimum requirements include an MD/DO or foreign degree, Kansas license eligibility, board eligibility or certification in Pediatrics, and completion of a Pediatrics residency.

Qualifications

• MD, DO or foreign degree equivalent.
• Hold or be eligible for a Kansas medical license.
• Board eligible or board certified in Pediatrics.
• Completion of a Pediatrics residency.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for hospitalized infants, children, and adolescents on pediatric hospital floor.
• Provide direct newborn care in well newborn and level 2 nursery.
• Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists to deliver co-managed inpatient care.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety activities.
• Contribute to education of residents, medical students, and allied health trainees.
• Attend division and departmental meetings and serve on committees as requested.
