Job summary

LocumTenens.com is seeking a pediatric hospitalist for an inpatient assignment in Alabama. The clinician will conduct rounds on pediatric inpatients and nursery patients during 24-hour shifts, with night call coverage from the hotel as needed.

The role requires board certification in pediatrics, prescriptive authority, and comfort with high-acuity cases. A 3–6 patient pediatric load and a 6–9 nursery load are typical per shift, with support from ER and hospitalist staff.
