Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist for locum tenens support in Virginia. The upcoming schedule is a 24-hour weekend call from Friday 7:00am to Monday 7:00am, caring for 1-2 inpatients per day in a hospital setting using MediTech EHR.

The candidate must hold an active Virginia medical license and PALS certification. Credentialing is expected within about 30 days, with malpractice insurance arranged by AMN Healthcare.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia medical license is required.
• PALS certification is required.
• Locum tenens experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient pediatric care on a 24 hour weekend call: Friday 7:00am to Monday 7:00am.
• Treat 1-2 patients per day in a hospital setting.
