Responsibilities

• Reviews, processes, and dispenses all physician medication and IV orders, ensuring dosage appropriateness by age, weight, and diagnosis.
• Collaborates with healthcare providers to ensure safe, cost-effective drug therapy.
• Provides drug information to healthcare professionals.
• Maintains competence and develops professional practice management skills.
• Serves as a preceptor to new staff and residents/students.
• Demonstrates age-specific competencies across neonatal to adult populations.
