Job summary

Procare-Hospice-of-Nevad is seeking a licensed Registered Nurse to deliver direct pediatric and hospice care under an interdisciplinary plan. You will triage emergencies, coordinate with the hospice team, document thoroughly, and support patients and families in emotionally challenging times.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, adherence to Nevada Nurse Practice Act, and effective communication with clinicians.

Qualifications

Must be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Nevada
CPR/First Aid certification is required
English language proficiency required
Willingness to be available for prescheduled on-call hours, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

Fosters and maintains effective working relationships with patients, families and hospice team
Follows an individualized Plan of Care established by the interdisciplinary team
Gathers, reports, and analyzes patient care data and implements care accordingly
Manages overall care to assigned patients including coordination of hospice disciplines during and outside business hours
Participates in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings and other Performance Improvement Activities
May pronounce death with physician orders and manage related documentation
