Job summary

Aveanna Healthcare in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for private duty home health assignments. You will provide patient-centered care in the home setting, collaborate with families, and document care activities using a tablet in each patient’s home.

This role offers flexible scheduling (days/evenings), ongoing training, and a supportive team that prioritizes safety and compassionate care for kids and adults.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered LPN/LVN license in the practicing state.
• Compact licenses must be transferred to your state of residence within 90 days.
• Current CPR certification (hands-on component) required; Aveanna can assist after hire if needed.
• TB skin test current within last 12 months.
• Six months of hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide home-based nursing care to patients in their residences.
• Document patient care activities using the tablet provided in the patient home.
