First Day Homecare is seeking a licensed RN to deliver skilled nursing care under physician orders in home settings. You will follow care plans, document changes, and coordinate with the client’s care team to ensure safety and quality pediatric private duty nursing.

Responsibilities include providing care per orders, monitoring patients, administering meds when directed, and collaborating with families to implement care plans.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current license to practice as an RN.
• Current CPR certification.
• Demonstrated written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Licensed driver with automobile insured per state requirements.

Responsabilités

• Provides professional nursing care as defined in the state Nurse Practice Act.
• Provides care per medical practitioner orders and client care plan.
• Maintains orders and documents changes in the medical record.
• Scope includes personal care, monitoring, medication, teaching, emergencies, and pediatric services like tracheostomy care and ventilator management.
• Works collaboratively with the client’s care team.
• Promotes personal safety and a safe environment for clients and coworkers.
• Performs duties in compliance with agency policies and standards.
• Participates in care coordination and agency meetings.
• Performs other related duties as needed.
