Job summary

Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to deliver in-home pediatric physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed PT. This role focuses on improving mobility, strength, and independence for young patients in a home setting, with flexible full-time or part-time options.

Candidates should hold a Texas PTA license and CPR certification; prior pediatric or home health experience is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Active PTA license (Texas).
  • Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on PTA interventions under the direction of a supervising therapist.
  • Implement established pediatric PT treatment plans.
  • Support children in improving mobility, balance, coordination, and functional independence.
  • Assist with therapeutic exercises and activities that promote development and strength.
  • Educate families and caregivers on home exercise programs and carryover.
  • Monitor and report patient progress to supervising therapist.
  • Coordinate care with the clinical team.
  • Document all Physical Therapy services in an EMR system.
  • Maintain compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.
