Job summary

Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is hiring compassionate, skilled RNs and LPNs for Pediatric Private Duty Nursing. The role provides one-on-one skilled care to pediatric patients in their homes in and around Houston, MO, with full-time daytime schedule.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN or LPN license in the state of practice.
• Pediatric or home-care experience is a plus, but not required; full clinical training is provided.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and dependable follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, one-on-one nursing care in accordance with the physician-ordered plan of care.
• Administer medications, perform skilled treatments, and monitor vital signs and patient status.
• Manage specialized medical equipment (e.g., G-tubes, tracheostomies, or ventilators, based on specific patient needs).
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate closely with the patient’s family, interdisciplinary care team, and clinical supervisors.
