North Texas Therapy is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide pediatric occupational therapy services in patients' homes or daytime facilities, under physician orders.

The role requires an Associate of Science in Occupational Therapy, Texas COTA licensure, and at least 6 months of full-time clinical experience with pediatric populations; home health experience is preferred. We offer comprehensive benefits and license renewal support.

Qualifications

• Associates of Science in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university.
• Current state of Texas licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• 6 months full-time clinical experience.
• Pediatric experience.
• Home Health experience preferred.
• Must carry valid auto insurance and driver's license.

Responsabilités

• Provide skilled occupational therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Provide skilledoccupational therapy services/interventions in the patients home or daytime facility.
• Schedule supervision visit(s) with his/her supervising OT according to Texas board guidelines.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient.
• Plans for care to meet goals of the occupational therapy interventions.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
• Enhances occupational therapy reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
