Job summary

Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (Pediatric NP or Family NP) for the inpatient hematology/oncology service. The APP will provide onsite patient care under supervision, admit patients, enter orders, and document care. Schedule includes nights (5:30p-6:30a) and weekends (6:30a-5:30p).

Experience with pediatric hematology/oncology is preferred but not required. The role emphasizes collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and ongoing professional

Qualifications

• Pediatric NP or Family NP required.
• APP experience preferred but not required.
• Onsite care of admitted patients under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provides inpatient assessment and care for pediatric hematology/oncology patients.
• Orders, documents, and coordinates plan of care.
• Collaborates with physicians, nurses, and other health care team.
• Maintains patient safety and PHI privacy.
• Supports education and professional development of staff and trainees.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
