Job summary
Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Amarillo is seeking an Assistant/Associate/Professor in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology to join our Department of Pediatrics. The selected physician will provide patient care in ambulatory and inpatient settings, contribute to interdisciplinary team-based treatment plans, and participate in resident and student education at TTUHSC Amarillo.
The ideal candidate will hold MD/DO/MBBS, have USMLE Step 3, be in or pursuing pediatrics residency and fellowship
Qualifications
- MD/DO/MBBS degree required.
- Completion of USMLE Step 3 required or in process.
- ACGME Pediatrics residency completion or in progress.
- Fellowship in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology required or in progress.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care in ambulatory and inpatient settings; participate in call schedule.
- Diagnose and treat pediatric blood disorders and cancers.
- Develop and implement individualized, interdisciplinary treatment plans.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust plans as needed.
- Educate and supervise students and residents.
