Valley Children’s Healthcare offers an entry-level internship across hospital departments with no hands-on patient care. Under close supervision, you will perform duties to learn data gathering, organization, and reporting for departmental projects.

You will accompany professional staff on assignments, use department software, and gain exposure to the hospital's structure and services through practical experiences and broader organizational insight.

Qualifications

• Education High School Diploma/G.E.D. (required)
• Program Current enrollment in undergraduate or graduate level degree program and have completed at least one semester of classes with a minimum 3.0 GPA. (required)
• Work Experience Prior experience in healthcare (preferred)
• Interest in healthcare (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Assist in gathering and organizing data for departmental special projects or reports.
• Assist in preparing written reports; filling; accompany professional level employees on assignment.
• Utilize hospital or department specific software to complete assignments.
• Learn methods, procedures and standards through supervised assignments.
