Job summary

Children's Mercy Kansas City seeks a board-certified/eligible child neurologist with a focus in headache medicine to join our Headache Section. Our multidisciplinary team includes headache neurologists, a pediatrician, 3 headache APRNs and two pain psychologists, delivering comprehensive services to over 8,000 children yearly.

Duties are primarily clinical with opportunities in education and research; we value patient- and family-centered care and welcome candidates with fellowship or UCNS

Qualifications

• Board-certified or eligible pediatric neurologist with a focus in headache medicine.
• Completion of Headache Medicine Fellowship or UCNS certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and patient/family-centered care.
• Ability to participate in interdisciplinary team and research.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care for pediatric headache patients within the Headache Section.
• Participate in education and research initiatives related to headache medicine.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including pediatricians, APRNs and psychologists.
