Job summary

BayCare Medical Group seeks a board-certified or board-eligible Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join the team at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa, Florida.

The role covers inpatient and outpatient pediatric GI care, including complex hepatology and nutrition disorders, across multiple settings. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, mentor pediatric residents, and collaborate with dietitians and surgeons.

Qualifications

• Board Certification or Eligibility by ABIM in Gastroenterology.
• MD or DO with completion of accredited Pediatric Gastroenterology fellowship.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Gastroenterology and Pediatrics.
• Eligible for/holds an active Florida medical license.
• Proficient in pediatric endoscopy and procedural care.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of pediatric GI conditions across inpatient, outpatient, and procedural settings.
• Perform and interpret upper and lower GI endoscopy, liver biopsies, G-tube placements, and motility studies.
