Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in coastal South Carolina invites applications for a board-certified Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology within the Department of Pediatrics. This full-time position in Murrells Inlet emphasizes clinical care, education, and research, with a collaborative team of 12 faculty physicians and 6 APPs.

Ideal candidates are BC pediatricians who completed a Pediatric Gastroenterology Fellowship, licensed or eligible

Qualifications

• BC Pediatrician who has completed an accredited Pediatric Gastroenterology Fellowship
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in South Carolina
• Committed to MUSC’s educational missions and enthusiastic about teaching
• Proven leadership and interpersonal skills, with interest in program development opportunities

Responsibilities

• Expand outpatient consultation delivery in Myrtle Beach area and Murrells Inlet clinic
• Perform pediatric endoscopy within the regional hospital network
• Work full-time with 1 admin day and 4 clinic days per week, averaging 12 patients/day
• Join a collaborative team of faculty physicians, APPs, dietitians, and fellows in the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology
• No on-call after hours responsibility; focus on clinical care, research, and education
