Job summary

Baylor College of Medicine at CHRISTUS Children’s is seeking a faculty member for a full-time position in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Gastroenterology, with specialization in motility disorders. The role offers a faculty appointment, competitive salary and full benefits.

Responsibilities include ambulatory and inpatient pediatric GI care, supervision and education of students, residents and fellows, outpatient and inpatient management of GI disorders, and performance of pediatric

Qualifications

• MD/DO/PhD degree or equivalent.
• Completion of an ACGME-approved Pediatric Gastroenterology fellowship.
• Texas Medical Board license to practice medicine.
• ABP board certification in pediatric gastroenterology or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide ambulatory and inpatient care for pediatric GI patients.
• Supervise and educate medical students, residents and fellows.
• Outpatient care for intestinal, hepatic, pancreatic and nutritional disorders.
• Inpatient care, consults and ER consults for GI concerns.
• Perform general pediatric GI procedures (e.g., endoscopy) as needed.
