Job summary

Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and the Department of Pathology at the Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania, seek an Assistant Professor in the non-tenure clinician educator track with emphasis in GI/Liver pathology. The position is based in CHOP's Division of Anatomic Pathology in Philadelphia.

Applicants must hold an MD or equivalent, ABP certification (AP-only or AP/CP) is required, and PA licensure eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent degree required.
• American Board of Pathology certification (AP-only or AP/CP) required.
• Licensure eligibility in Pennsylvania required.
• Pediatric pathology certification or eligibility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teaching medical students, residents and fellows.
• Participation in the GI/Liver pathology service.
• Night/weekend call coverage as needed.
• Development of a research program in GI/liver pathology.
