Phoenix Children’s Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Pediatric Dietitian II to join our pediatric nutrition team with a focus on GI care.

The RDN will develop nutrition plans for children, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and educate families on nutrition strategies to support growth and health. The role demands expertise in pediatric MNT, GI disorders, enteral and parenteral nutrition, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential required.
• Bachelor’s degree with supervised practice experience; master’s degree required unless holding a relevant specialty certification (e.g., CSP, CNSC, or CDCES).
• Two or more years of clinical nutrition experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
• Experience providing medical nutrition therapy for pediatric patients, including GI disorders, enteral and parenteral nutrition, and growth concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutrition care to pediatric patients and families, using evidence-based MNT.
• Assess nutritional needs and implement MNT plans aligned with care goals.
• Determine feeding modalities and adjust plans as needed for safety and outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on nutrition concepts and plan adherence.
• Document care plans accurately for interdisciplinary teams.
• Participate in rounds and contribute to care decisions with the care team.
• Support quality and patient satisfaction goals through education and collaboration.
