Job summary

Children’s Hospital Colorado and the University of Colorado School of Medicine seek a BC/BE pediatric gastroenterologist for a Clinical-Educator role based in Colorado Springs at Briargate Clinic and CHCO Colorado Springs. The candidate will join a growing pediatric GI program and provide outpatient and inpatient GI care with endoscopic procedures.

The position emphasizes clinical excellence, teaching medical students and fellows, and strong teamwork across the CHCO/DHI teams.

Qualifications

• BC/BE pediatric gastroenterologist with fellowship training in Pediatric Gastroenterology.
• MD or equivalent degree with ABP Board Certification in Pediatrics.
• BE/BC in Pediatric Gastroenterology and eligibility for CU SOM Clinical-Educator appointment.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient clinical evaluation and management of pediatric GI patients at Briargate Clinic.
• Inpatient consultations and performance of GI procedures at CHCO Colorado Springs.
• Education and teaching of medical students, fellows, and others; strong communication within the team.
