Job summary

Lee Physician Group (LPG) Pediatrics at Lee Health in Fort Myers, Florida is seeking a full-time Pediatric Geneticist to join our team. The physician will participate in diagnosis, counseling, and treatment of patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with EPIC EMR used for records.

Board-certified or eligible by ABMGG; residency in Medical Genetics required; experience in biochemical genetics encouraged.

Qualifications

• ABMGG board certification or eligibility required.
• Completed Medical Genetics Residency in an ACGME-accredited program.
• Interest/experience in Medical Biochemical Genetics encouraged.
• Diagnosis, counseling and treatment of patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Opportunity to provide adult medical genetics services and contribute to publications.

Golisano Childrens Hospital of SWFL- Lee Health is seeking a Pediatric Geneticist!

Nestled near the stunning beaches of Southwest Florida, Golisano Childrens Hospital at Lee Health is a modern, state-of-the-art facility delivering vital and lifesaving care for children and their families throughout the region. The 135 bed regional hospital cares for children across five counties and is the only childrens hospital between Tampa and Miami. Golisano provides a variety of specialized services for our communitys children ranging from emergency care to behavioral health, surgery to critical care, orthopedics, cancer treatment, cardiology, and more. The hospital features a 36-bed medical/surgical unit, a 16-bed PICU, and a 70-bed NICU with 24/7 neonatology coverage.

Position Information:

Lee Physician Group (LPG) Pediatrics is seeking a full-time ABMGG Board Certified/Board Eligible Medical Geneticist to join their team. The candidate for this position must have completed a Medical Genetics Residency in an ACGME-accredited program. Candidates with previous academic experience and/or expertise in Medical Biochemical Genetics are encouraged to apply. The candidate will participate in the diagnosis, counseling, and treatment of patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Depending on the candidate, there also are opportunities to provide adult medical genetics services and participate in academic publications. The providers utilize EPIC for their electronic medical records.
