Job summary

Ascension seeks a board-certified or board-eligible Pediatric General Surgeon to join a busy, well-resourced practice in Indianapolis. The physician will provide operative care for general, thoracic, ECMO and pediatric trauma cases, teaching residents and medical students within a collaborative team environment.

The role requires an MD or DO with Indiana licensure, Fellowship in Pediatric General Surgery, and ALSS/BSLS training preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensure/Certification/Registration required in Indiana
• Advanced Life Support preferred (AHA or Red Cross)

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive operative care for general, thoracic, ECMO and pediatric trauma cases.
• Teach, mentor and supervise general surgery residents and medical students.
• Collaborate within a busy team to grow and develop the pediatric general surgery program.
