Job summary

Wellstar Medical Group seeks a board-certified/board-eligible Pediatric General Surgeon to join an established program in Metropolitan Atlanta, GA. The role includes clinic half-days, elective and emergent surgeries, and scheduled call coverage with no trauma or ECMO duties.

Surgeries occur at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital with opportunities to build programs in chest wall deformity, bariatrics, and robotics. The system supports innovative care and a strong pediatric network.

Qualifications

• Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Pediatric Surgeon MD or DO.
• J1 and H1 visas are considered

Responsibilities

• Clinic two half-days per week plus elective and emergent surgeries.
• Approx. 7 days per month of call coverage with no trauma/ECMO responsibilities.
• Surgeries performed at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital; use of robotics and laparoscopic techniques.
