Qualifications

• Licensed by the Texas Medical Board or eligible for licensure in Texas.
• Current certification in surgery or pediatric surgery by the American Board of Surgery or eligible for same.
• Experience: demonstrated competence with at least fifty surgical procedures in the past 12 months or completion of an ACGME/AOA fellowship.

Responsabilités

• Admit, evaluate, diagnose, and manage surgical care for patients from six years through adulthood.
• Provide surgical (pre- and post-operative) care and coordinate with ICU as needed.
• Stabilize and disposition patients in emergencies per medical staff policy.
• Participate in education and collaboration within the General Surgery division.
