Job Overview

The Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital Section of Pediatric Surgery, part of the Westchester Medical Center Department of Surgery in Valhalla, NY, is seeking a BC/BE pediatric surgeon to join a growing practice of three surgeons. The successful candidate will work within an academic group practice affiliated with New York Medical College and will be based in Valhalla, NY—35 minutes north of New York City.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of a busy pediatric surgery practice.

• Provide a full range of surgical services to children in the Hudson Valley region.

• Engage in patient care, general surgery residency training, and medical student education.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Surgery.

• Strong academic interests and a commitment to medical education.

• Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
