Job summary

Adventure Dental & Vision in Baltimore, MD, is seeking a General Dentist to provide preventive and restorative dental care for children, instruct staff, and educate caregivers and patients on preventive practices. This is a part-time role for Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays with a pay range of $700-$1000 per day.

The position involves examining patients, diagnosing diseases, and performing necessary procedures, while collaborating with neighboring practices to inform referring providers.

Qualifications

• State license in good standing.
• Strong interest in working with children.
• Ability to acquire Medicaid Provider number and NPI number.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle a diverse workload.
• Ability to multi-task and complete tasks correctly and on time.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care and service for our patients by responding promptly to patient, caregiver, and team needs.
• Examine patients, diagnose diseases, and effectively treat and perform all necessary procedures.
• Educate caregivers and patients regarding all aspects of treatment and stay informed on latest dental treatment techniques.
• Partner with neighboring practices to inform and educate referring providers of the services provided.
• Help kids and their caregivers to develop excellent habits in oral health.
• Support efforts to promote the company and attract new patients within the community.
• Participate in team activities and communication such as morning huddle, provider meetings, company events and email communications.
• Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children.
