Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
• Pediatric Dentist or General Dentist with pediatric experience.
• Georgia dental license (or eligibility to obtain).
• Active Medicaid Provider ID.
• Current Nitrous Oxide Certification (if required by state).
• Comfortable treating pediatric patients ages 1–21, primarily ages 3–9.
• Comfortable managing patient behavior and communicating effectively with children and parents.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented with a compassionate, patient-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental care for pediatric patients ages 1–21, with the majority of patients between 3–9 years old.
• Perform Stainless Steel Crowns (SSCs), fillings, pulpotomies, and simple extractions.
• Complete hygiene checks and recare exams throughout the day.
• Provide same-day treatment when clinically appropriate.
• Build trusting relationships with children and their families.
• Educate patients and parents on lifelong oral health habits.
• Deliver exceptional patient-centered care in a busy pediatric practice.
