Job summary

All Star Healthcare Solutions is seeking a Pediatric Gastroenterologist for a locum tenens assignment in South Carolina. The weekend schedule runs Friday 3 PM to Monday 7 AM, with consult-only cases and discretionary decisions on urgent issues, and a start date targeted for October.

The ideal candidate holds an MD with SC licensure, ACLS and BLS, 2+ years of experience, and pediatric GI board certification.

Qualifications

• MD degree required and SC license
• Board certification in Pediatric GI or GI
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years experience
• Shift includes weekend hours

Responsibilities

• Provide consult service only.
• Manage urgent cases (bleed etc.) during weekends as needed.
• Collaborate with hospital staff and families

Shift Details:

• Schedule Details: Friday at 3PM to Monday at 7AM (Times can be negotiated)
• Cases: Consult Service only. Standard of care is to manage anything else urgent like a bleed etc. which we are expecting to be done but are uncommon. Other scopes are up to the discretion of the provider if it is urgent enough to be done on the weekend.
• Certifications Needed: ACLS, BLS
• Min Experience: 2 Years
• Patient Population/Case Load: 33% Adolescents, 33% Pediatrics, & 33% Newborn: 8-12 PPD
