Job summary

Aura Health is seeking a full-time Pediatric Gastroenterologist to provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care for pediatric GI conditions in California. The role includes diagnosing and managing GI disorders, performing endoscopy and reviewing advanced GI studies.

The ideal candidate should be Board eligible or certified in Pediatric Gastroenterology, possess a valid California medical license, and enjoy teaching medical students and residents within a collaborative pediatric

Qualifications

• Board eligibility or certification in Pediatric Gastroenterology.
• California medical license is required.
• Strong clinical and communication skills.
• Experience teaching medical students and residents is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient pediatric GI care, including diagnosis and management of GI disorders.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy and colonoscopy.
• Review pH/impedance tracings and video capsule endoscopy as part of patient evaluation.
• Collaborate with a pediatric subspecialty team supporting the 24-bed ward, PICU and NICU.

Responsibilities encompass performing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, colonoscopy, and reviewing pH/impedance tracings and video capsule endoscopy.
Work collaboratively within a pediatric subspecialty team supporting a 24-bed pediatric ward, PICU, and NICU, with access to a broad network of specialists.
Ideal candidates should be comfortable teaching medical students and residents, and possess strong clinical and communication skills.
