Job summary

Elliot Hospital in Manchester, New Hampshire is seeking a full-time Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join our dedicated pediatric specialty team. The role balances outpatient care, inpatient consultation, and procedural practice within a collaborative community hospital environment.

You will provide comprehensive care for infants, children, and adolescents with GI, hepatic, pancreatic, and nutritional conditions, including endoscopic procedures and urgent cases.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage pediatric patients with acute and chronic gastrointestinal conditions.
• Provide outpatient consultation and longitudinal specialty care.
• Provide inpatient pediatric gastroenterology consultations.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic pediatric endoscopic procedures.
• Provide urgent procedural care, including foreign-body removal.
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care teams.
• Coordinate care with primary care clinicians and pediatric subspecialists.
• Participate in ImproveCareNow initiatives, quality improvement, clinical education, and program development.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
• Share call responsibilities as established by the department.
